How great would the world be if people exchanged ideas and shared experience freely every other time? With the help of Level Up Village (LUV), Gayaza High School girls have partnered with St. Mary’s- California, USA and Masoom, India to share ideas and experience on Education, Leadership, Cultural perception and Community Service. Sometimes we become accustomed to our own understandings and forget that there are a wide range of perspective on any topic from around the globe. This course centers on creating a cross-cultural virtual exchange environment, where students learn from each other about themselves and their communities. Together, with their classmates and their global partners, students read and discuss I am Malala and explore cultural perceptions among both countries. Students will have a chance to reflect upon and express their own understanding of the role of education in the world, while also gaining some perspective on the state of education in their partners’ country. Through the video letter exchange, students will also look into leadership and the traits of a great leader, while continuing on to explore the role community service plays in each country.

Level Up Village (LUV) delivers pioneering global STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) enrichment courses that promote design thinking through one-to-one collaboration between students in the United States and students in developing countries. In addition, the company connects children from around the world for literature, cultural and foreign language exchanges. The students exchange weekly videos via the Level Up Village Classroom page as shown below;

Giving a chance to the young to share about their beliefs opens up their global view and bridges the perceptions gap. This is a world that every one desires and LUV has towed this route
